In addition to Salar Jang, the "Founders' Gallery" also has pictures of other members of the Salar Jang family.
The Indian block includes jade-made daggers from Jahangir, Noor Jahan and Shah Jahan. And the weapons belonged to Aurangzeb, Tipu Sultan, Muhammad Shah, Bahadur Shah and Abul Hassan Qutb Shah.
Small Indian paintings from Mughal, Rajasthani, Thanjavur and Deccan schools are on display. There are also Indian sculptures from the Gandhara and Chola periods. The Zahir Museum also houses a collection of modern Indian art from a Bengali school. Creations of Raja Ravi Verma, Abdul Rehman Chughtai, MF. Hussain, K. Heber, Rabindranath Tagore, Abinder Nath Tagore and Nandral Bose have been hanged.
