Krishna's greatness One day Sri Krishna and Arjuna were talking in Hastinapur.
Arjuna: "Krishna, I donate as much as I can. Yet everyone praises Karna's generosity."
"Krishna knows the mind of Arjuna" I will organize a competition for you tomorrow. Most donors then say, "I understand you." Agreed by Arjuna. The next day, Krishna created a gold and a silver hill and told Arjuna to finish both the hills in the evening. Arjuna began to divide the hills with those who came. The work was continued till evening but could not be completed by half. By the end of the day, about a quarter was still left. If Krishna came and saw Karna, He would have finished giving it. Arjuna gets annoyed but thinks how Karna does it.
Krishna summoned a soldier and ordered him to take Karna. Krishna again created two gold and silver hills and donated them for the night. Karna summoned the two men on the way and said, "I will do it now, Swami." Those passers-by went out, triumphing over Karna. Karna said to Krishna, "Swami, your work is done." Then Krishna turned to Arjuna and said, "Look, Arjuna, Karna does not want many people to praise him. He does not hesitate to give away what he has.
