The entrance to the courtyard is one of the most prominent features of the mosque, which has a rectangular, arched and canopied building with marble tombs of the rulers of the Asaf Jahi dynasty. This structure was formed during the reign of Asif Jah rulers. It contains the graves of the first and last Nizami, Mir Usman Ali Khan and all the Asaf Jahi rulers, who are buried in the Jama Masjid in front of the King Kothi Palace.
There are two rectangular blocks at either end of the resting place for Asif Jahi, four of which are minarets. These minarets have beautiful and circular balconies with ornate walls and arches. Above them is an octagonal inverted platform from which the rest of the minaret is captured by a dome and a spire.
